Maurizio and Roberto Viel 
Drs Roberto and Maurizio Viel have been practising cosmetic surgery for nearly twenty years and are recognised all over the world as pioneers in new techniques. Born in Rome, the brothers studied for 11 years in Milan to become specialists in facial surgery. For the first six years they practised in Italy then, in 1990, they established their Harley Street clinic, The London Centre for Aesthetic Surgery. Both are fully qualified surgeons with international certification in cosmetic surgery and hold fellowships and memberships from many professional bodies and a number of renowned associations throughout Europe and the United States of America. Such is their position and recognition within their industry that they are often called upon to present work to international conferences on a variety of topics and procedures and are regularly called upon by the world’s media to contribute, comment or be the centre of a feature in both print and on television.
In the UK alone they have pioneered procedures such as Facial Rejuvenation, Ultrasound Liposculpture, Anti Ageing medicine and a groundbreaking fat removal procedure called Liposelection. They use their aesthetic sense of beauty, together with surgical expertise to create subtle improvements, which enhance both face and body, thus facilitating a rebirth of beauty.
Now they are working on a book to be published by Hodder in January 2007 which will give unprecedented access to their techniques and expertise.
