Wow. I'm impressed with your agency and its track record! You seem to be the agency that cares more for the authors than the work! Keep up the great effort!

An excellent and informative site. I understand a lot more about the industry than I did an hour ago. Thanks.

An informative and friendly website; certainly one of the better ones for aspiring writers.

Two points of interest if I may. The excellent piece on 'The Role of the Literary Agent' makes reference to: 1, the covering letter containing just a two sentence reference to the story, and 2, the synopsis should not reveal the story's ending. These guidelines appear contrary to most other advice. Am I reading this correctly?

Thank you,

Hugo

This is the first Authors' Agency website I have seen with a guestbook. Nice idea. It's interesting to read the comments from other aspiring author's. Hope you like my submission - A Midsummer Scout's Scream.

Hi,
I find this web site easy to use and informative.
At present I endevoring to write my best work, my synopsis and my covering letter, with this I shall be sending my first thriller to this agency, the first in a serial.

Your website with its simplicity and honesty made me feel at home. As I read about your literary agency, I felt as if you were sitting right in front of me, listening to me with a smile on your face and assuring me that I have found a friend in you. A friend who will read what I present without prejudice. a friend who will look for whatever talent I have and encourage me.

I will be writing to you today about my new novel. Thanks very much for thinking about people like me.

There is some useful information on your site, and submission details seem rather more relaxed and informal than some other agencies, which seem somewhat over the top in their requirements. I'll definately be submitting my work shortly!

First Class! I'd definitely suggest this site to other writers looking for an agent. Fingers crossed, though! I'm counting on you taking my book in!!!

I am searching for an Agent in the UK and your website is very informative and concise. It makes my task easier when a site is firstly available and secondly tells it like it is. I am sure I will be writing to you about my second book.

What a lovely website. Clean, crisp and clear. No bells and whistles but instead lots of really useful text in, as it happens, my favourite font and size. Love the "pack shots" of all your books too. Very impressive list.

Thanks very much for the informative piece on the role of literary agents. Strikes perfect tone between encouragement and realism.

Really like this site for some reason - could be the screenwriting font or something...can\\\'t put my finger on it, but the peach colour is oddly soothing... But having read the entire site I just thought I\\\'d say how much I enjoyed the essay on the Role Of The Literary Agent. I teach a creative writing class ( in Dublin) and I\\\'m going to direct my class to your site to read this essay - think it\\\'s very useful for writers with their first pitch, really very thorough. So, thanks!
Warm regards from Juliet Bressan (Ireland).

I echo the previous comments regarding the role of the literary agent.
Also appreciate the simplicity of the website. As a writer who is looking for an agent,I am astonished at some of the websites - unhelpful, very off putting in their gloss and superfluity, some arrogant to extreme.
This one strikes just the right tone - well done!

What a wonderfully helpful web site! David, your piece on 'The Role of the Literary Agent' is the most robust and helpful decription of how the industry works I've come across. Great detail and a must read for anyone setting out on this journey. First rate web site from a partnership who are clearly enthusiastic and visionary.
